Central MN Warrior to Citizen Website
The Central MN Warrior to Citizen set a goal to connect war veterans and thier families to members of the community through an online cataloge of resources.
The committee requested a featured content area on the site's home page . The slider cycles through the slides. Navigation on the left allows the viewer to select the image.
To better organize the long list of sub-navigation items. I integrated a hover-accordian that expands and collapses upon clicking.
Using php, I developed a secure password protected members area. Members can login to view committee's monthly meeting minutes. New members can sign up from the site.
The plan:
The Central MN Warrior to Citizen set a goal to connect war veterans and thier families to members of the community through an online cataloge of resources. My job was to create a logo and develop a dynamic website with a password protected “members only” area.
The process:
I began the site design by creating three different themed concepts: grunge, metallic, and minimal. The decision was unanimous; the straightforward approach of the minimal design was exaclty what the commitee was looking for.
The result:
I integrated a featured content area on the site’s home page to promote current issues. W2C members can login to view the monthly meeting minutes in the “members only” area. New volunteers can sign up using the sign up page.
